Woman ceramic coating a vehicle

What is ceramic coating?

Ceramic coating is a high-tech, liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your vehicle’s paint, creating an ultra-slick, long-lasting shield. Unlike waxes or sealants that wash away, this protective layer stays locked in—defending against UV rays, bird droppings, water spots, and even minor scratches. Translation? Your ride stays cleaner, shinier, and easier to maintain for the long haul. It’s not just for looks—it’s smart, durable protection with a mirror-gloss finish.

Unmatched Protection

Ceramic coating forms a strong, invisible layer that shields your vehicle from UV rays, oxidation, bird droppings, tree sap, and other everyday enemies. Think of it as paint armor—with a shine.

Hydrophobic Effect

Water beads up and rolls off like magic. The hydrophobic power of ceramic coating means rain, mud, and road grime have a much harder time sticking. Your car stays cleaner, longer & looks good.

Enhanced Gloss & Shine

That deep, reflective gloss? It’s not just for show (but it does turn heads). Ceramic coating enhances your vehicle’s natural color and clarity for a high-gloss finish that lasts. It’s shine that actually works.

Effortless Maintenance

Say goodbye to constant washes and detailing marathons. With ceramic coating, dirt and grime slide off with ease—cutting your cleaning time in half and making every wash a breeze.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions:

Do I still need to wash my vehicle after it's been ceramic coated?

Yes — but the difference is night and day. Dirt and water slide right off, making washes faster, easier, and less frequent. Just use gentle soaps and tools to protect your coating.

How long does the application process take?

The ceramic coating process typically takes 1 to 2 business days, depending on your vehicle’s size, paint condition, and the specific product used.

Can ceramic coating prevent scratches and chips?

When can I drive my car after ceramic coating?

Your vehicle is usually ready to drive after 24–48 hours. That gives the coating time to fully cure and bond. Avoid rain, washing, or exposure to harsh conditions during that time to lock in the best results.

How long does the ceramic coating last?

When professionally applied and properly maintained, ceramic coating can last 2 to 5 years — even in South Florida’s intense conditions. To make your investment last, we recommend routine check-ins.

Ceramic coating offers minor scratch resistance, not bulletproof armor. It helps protect against light swirls and contaminants but won’t stop rock chips or deep gouges. For that, you’ll want to pair it with PPF.

Can ceramic coating be applied to older vehicles or only new ones?

Ceramic coating isn’t just for new cars — it can dramatically protect and enhance older vehicles too. As long as the paint is in good condition or corrected beforehand, ceramic coating helps preserve what’s there.
